In one line: your practice history and settings stay on your device and are never sent to the developer.
SwingCool is a golf practice timer with no account and no sign-in. The timer and practice history work offline. Network access is used for advertising consent, rewarded ads (Google Mobile Ads), and App Store or Google Play purchases.
01 · Information we collect
The developer collects no personal information
The SwingCool developer does not collect your name, email, phone number, location or any other personal information, and there is no account to create. The developer operates no server at all.
02 · Data stored on your device
What stays on your device
The data below is stored only on your device (iPhone or Android phone, and a paired Galaxy Watch) and cannot be accessed by the developer or any third party.
| Data | Where | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Per-club practice time, order, clubs you own | Local storage on device | Building your routine |
| Completed routines (count, focus time, last session) | Local storage on device | History and stats |
| End-of-block alert mode (silent, sound, vibration) | Local storage on device | Alert setting |
| Free practice starts remaining, lifetime pass status | Local storage + store purchase record | Access management |
03 · Ads and third-party SDKs
Rewarded ads appear only when you ask for one
After launch, the app may use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request advertising consent where required. When ads are available, the Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) SDK may preload a rewarded ad before you tap "Watch an ad for one more practice," but the ad is displayed only after you choose that button. Google may process approximate location inferred from your IP address, device and app identifiers (including the Android advertising ID), diagnostic and performance information, and ad interaction data to serve, protect, and measure ads.
On iOS, the app does not request App Tracking Transparency permission and requests non-personalized ads only. Advertising privacy choices are available from "Ad privacy settings" when UMP determines that options are required for your region and consent state. See the Google Privacy Policy and how AdMob handles data for details.
When the lifetime pass is active, the app does not request or display rewarded ads.
04 · In-app purchase
Payments are handled by Apple or Google
The "ad-free forever" purchase and its restore are processed only through Apple's App Store (StoreKit) or Google Play Billing. The developer never collects or stores card numbers or other payment details; Apple's or Google's own privacy policy applies.
05 · Children
No personal information is knowingly collected from children
SwingCool is not directed to children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect children's personal information. When advertising is available, however, Google's advertising SDK may process the information described above. Parents or guardians should supervise a child's use and may contact us below with a privacy or deletion request concerning a child.
06 · Deleting your data
Delete the app and the data goes with it
Because everything is stored on the device, deleting the app deletes your history and settings. No backup or copy exists on any developer server. The lifetime pass is tied to your App Store or Google Play account and can be brought back with "Restore purchases" after reinstalling.
