In short: recordings and calendar data are not sent to a developer-operated server.
Core recording, playback, and organization features work offline. On iPhone, Google Mobile Ads and UMP may use the network for consent checks, ad preparation, and showing optional rewarded ads. App Store services are used for purchasing or restoring Pro.
01 · Personal data we collect
The developer does not directly collect account information
The QuicorDay developer does not directly collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or location data, and the app has no registration or login. If you choose an iPhone rewarded ad, Google's advertising SDK may process the ad-related data described below.
02 · Data stored on your device
What remains on your devices
The data below is stored only on your iPhone or Apple Watch. It is not accessible to the QuicorDay developer or other third parties.
| Data | Storage location | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Audio recordings, recording time, duration, and organization status | On-device IndexedDB | Playback and calendar organization |
| Theme color, recording quality, post-recording date assignment, and other preferences | Local device storage | App personalization and recorder configuration |
| App-lock PIN or pattern | Stored on-device after SHA-256 hashing | App lock and Secret Calendar protection |
| Biometric authentication result (Face ID or Touch ID) | Handled by the device; the app receives only the result | Unlocking the app |
App-lock PINs and patterns are stored only as SHA-256 hashes, not as the original values. The original PIN or pattern therefore cannot be recovered from the stored value. Biometric authentication is handled only by iOS LocalAuthentication. QuicorDay never accesses face or fingerprint data and receives only the authentication result. App Lock and Secret Calendar protect access to the app screen; they do not encrypt the audio files themselves.
03 · Microphone access
The microphone is used only while recording
The microphone is activated only after you press the record button to begin a recording. Recorded audio remains on your device and is not uploaded to a developer-operated server.
04 · Apple Watch
Watch data moves only between your paired devices
Apple Watch recordings are transferred to your paired iPhone using Apple's WatchConnectivity. Theme choices, the currently available recording-quality setting, and the post-recording date-assignment setting also move to the paired watch through the same device-to-device connection. QuicorDay does not operate a separate developer server for this transfer and does not collect or view the transferred data.
05 · Sharing · exporting
Sharing happens only when you choose it
When you choose Share, the recording is passed to the standard iOS share sheet and then only to the destination you select, such as Messages or another app. Further handling is governed by the selected service's own policy. Export saves the file in QuicorDay's app-specific storage without using the share sheet or sending the file outside the device.
06 · Third-party SDKs · analytics · advertising
Google SDKs are used for optional iPhone rewarded ads
The iPhone app uses Google Mobile Ads SDK and User Messaging Platform (UMP) for optional rewarded ads and consent choices. Google may process IP address, permitted device or app identifiers, diagnostics, performance data, and ad interactions for ad delivery, fraud prevention, and measurement. An ad appears only after you tap the rewarded-ad button; completing one adds one free calendar placement for that local month. The Apple Watch app contains no ad UI or ad SDK. QuicorDay does not currently request ATT permission or IDFA tracking. See Google's Privacy Policy.
07 · In-app purchases
Apple processes payment information
QuicorDay Pro purchases are processed only through Apple's standard App Store payment system (StoreKit). The QuicorDay developer does not directly collect or store payment-card information. Apple's privacy policy applies separately to the payment transaction.
08 · Children's privacy
We do not knowingly collect children's personal data
QuicorDay does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because the app does not send personal data to a developer-operated server, the same on-device protection applies regardless of age.
09 · Data deletion
Deleting the app deletes its locally stored data
Because all app data is stored on your device, deleting an individual recording in the app removes that recording. Deleting the app removes the app's locally stored data. No backup or copy exists on a QuicorDay developer server.
10 · Policy changes
This page contains the current policy
If this policy changes, this page and the in-app policy under Settings → Privacy Policy will be updated together, and the last-updated date shown above will be revised.
